What a beautiful week we’ve just lived in a city that feels like home to us.From April 1st to April 6th, we had the pleasure of welcoming back one of our dearest clients from the US — this time with 77 top performers and their plus-ones — to the eternal city of love: Rome.
At Abile, we took care of every single detail: from hotel sourcing and booking to itinerary planning, transfers, mobile app development, curated dining experiences, merchandising, welcome gifts, and ticketing.
Our goal? To ensure seamless logistics and total peace of mind for both our client and their guests.
For five days straight, we blended Rome’s iconic landmarks with hidden local gems, offering a rich tapestry of experiences:
Guided walking tours through cobbled alleys and vibrant piazzas
E-bike adventures and golf cart explorations
Exclusive visits to the Vatican and the Colosseum
A full day in a private winery in Frascati, complete with a pasta-making class and sun-drenched wine tasting
But what truly made this experience exceptional was our commitment to hyper-personalization:
Every activity and group was thoughtfully crafted to ensure no guest was ever separated from their +1
23 special dietary requirements were attentively managed by a dedicated staff member
A custom event app gave guests 24/7 access to schedules, updates, notifications, and real-time contact with our team
The welcome gift was a collaboration with Antica Occhialeria, a family-owned artisan eyewear brand from Florence, who set up a pop-up kiosk in the hotel lobby for guests to choose from 7 unique handmade models on the spot
And of course — it was sustainable.Because we believe the best events leave a positive mark: on the brand, the guests, the planet, and society.
Here are just a few of the practices we implemented:
Guests walked as much as possible to reduce emissions, and when not on foot, they traveled by e-bike or golf cart — and loved it
All merchandise was sourced from local producers: from Taralli snacks from Puglia, to homemade Limoncello to toast with
Every restaurant selected used seasonal, locally sourced (km 0) ingredients
Nothing was printed — all information was accessible in real-time via our custom app
Guests dove into Italian culture through a cooking class, a visit to a certified DOC winery in Frascati, and performances by local artists
Finally, we offset the carbon footprint of the entire experience
Our top priority? That every participant left Rome not just in love with the city, but feeling proud of their company and truly connected to their peers.
They came as strangers, and left as friends.
And to us, that is the true measure of success
