Due to the coronavirus situation, many Spanish hotels, venues and restaurants are offering their spaces in order to transform them into "true hospitals" as Eventoplus has reported.
The IFEMA center, the Room Mate hotels and the Ilunion group, among others, have made available some of their venues to the Madrid’s political and health authorities with the objective of treating non-critical patients, thus helping hospital centers to return back to normality.
In addition, the Marriott Auditorium hotel is expected to start receiving patients in the next few hours. Other hotels like Via Castellana, Miguel Ángel and Ilunion Atrium will be in charge of treating patients that arrive from Hospital La Paz, Clínico San Carlos among others and Hospital Ramón y Cajal respectively.
